Orlando attorney Gwen Cryer is the founder of the Bay Hill Area Law Firm. A
former Assistant Public Defender in the Ninth
Judicial Circuit, Ms. Cryer has practiced extensively in both Orlando and

Ms. Cryer began her work at the Office of the Public Defender in a Misdemeanor
division, transferred to a Traffic division, and was promoted to defending
Felony cases in just over one year. While a Public Defender, Ms. Cryer handled
well over a hundred cases at any given timeЧan incredible opportunity to gain a
wealth of experience and knowledge. Ms. Cryer has had much success representing
thousands accused of DUI, Driving While License Suspended, Grand Theft,
Aggravated Battery, Criminal Mischief, Possession of Drugs, and much more. Ms.
Cryer began her career as a private criminal defense attorney with a Possession
of Cocaine case that was dismissed at her first court appearance--a Motion to
Suppress that was granted by the court. Ms. Cryer has many other trial

Prior to her work as a Public Defender, Ms. Cryer was employed with the
Family Law Center,

NY. While there, Ms. Cryer assisted clients in divorce and child custody
matters. Ms. Cryer is also a Certified Family Mediator,
